Making History with Every Pint

IMAG1020We made a bit of history yesterday. If you have been following this blog, you’ve heard what we’ve had to go through to serve up pints. Well, at long last, the journey is over and a new one begins.

The type of license we acquired had to be created, it was brand new to the county. This license entitles us to serve beer for on premise consumption and get this…we don’t have to serve food, so no pesky food to liquor ratios. One might argue that Hank Dietle’s can already, difference is, we only serve beer and beer only. This is the first time this particular license making an appearance. Who knows, maybe more breweries will pop up in Montgomery County.

We spent a considerable amount of time renovating and there’s more to come. There’s a new marble topped bar, we got rid of the rickety old stools and replaced them, as well as other items. Amazing what a little paint can do to a room, it brightens the place up and I feel it is more inviting and a little less “garage” like. So come on in, pull up a stool, and order up a brew. You are helping us make a bit of history in every pint.

Thank you.
