Did you know? The Code of Hammurabi, a set of laws set up by the Babylonian King Hammurabi (reign 1792-1750 B.C.) If the proprietor of a ale house was caught watering down their brews, it was death. Either the criminal brewer was drowned in their beer, or force fed their tainted brew until they expired.
