The day has come again, we’re releasing yet another beer. The Hopshot IPA is being released today!
There’s a little story behind this one, originally we had a completely different hop profile, and then the one key hop was no longer available. Arrg. Well, our head brewer, Jared Bassman, came up with an idea, “Let’s do two IPA’s and let people vote on it.” So, we brewed up two separate IPA’s and let our visitors vote on which one they liked best. Then the results…the drum roll please….it was a tie! So what did we do? We brewed up an IPA using both hop profiles.
Here’s a little tidbit about our IPA:
IBUs: 73
ABV: 6.9%
Hops: Columbus, Galena, and Warrior
Specialty Malts: Vienna and Crystal Malt
